However once the app updates, I'll pull up one of these base templates, change some characteristics of it that I want to tweak and try and run another consult. I can still load up old templates that were final results, that's not a problem. Ones that I have loaded up with all the items I want it to choose from to try and get a different result. Also items with crafting bonuses do not import as well so its pretty darn close.įor whatever reason, every single time LOKI gets an update, it renders my base templates useless. There may be a few stray items that have weird icons and dont get tagged and sorted that said in the list I imported which I linked its 2681 that do not get imported. I added tags based on their icon to help these succeed. Loki sorts items to their "location" aka slot like helm legs feet boots gloves, 1h, 2h, shield, ranged, based on keywords in the name of the item. So only the instruments that are missing when importing to loki? I guess I can live with that minstrels and bards only using the same 2 wpns anyways I guess. Step 6 – Launch DAoC and enjoy your scaled UI.Edit: 18901 in database it imports 16617 for some reason loki wont import instruments not sure why it cant recognize the location and its to much work to manually change the location on them. Step 4 – Under “Scale and layout” click on “100% (Recommended) which brings up a list to select from.Step 3 – Scroll down to Scale and layout.
If you only have one monitor, skip this step.
I prefer the 125% scale and layout setting, as its a sweet spot for me with a 1080P monitor.
We can leverage this capability for a legacy game client such as DAoC to increase the scaling of the UI while maintaining a full screen gaming experience. Scale and layout usually defaults to 100% of the native screen resolution of your monitor. Fast forward 19 years from the game’s release and in a modern operating system such as Windows 10, Microsoft baked in something into the display settings called “Scale and layout”. There are custom UI mods that allow different maps and skins, but due to the hard coding in the game client, the custom (or Atlantis UI for that matter) UIs cant change things like the paperdoll or inventory or bars.
Please note this is a global setting and will impact the scale and layout of every application on your computer.īackground: If you play(ed) Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC) and were curious on how to make the user interface (UI) scale up, then you landed in the right place! The UI in the game client itself was mostly hard coded by the developer team back in the early 2000’s.
TL DR: Increase your Display settings Scale and layout to 125% or greater.
